The Faculté d’Odontologie of Université d’Etat d’Haïti is pleased to confirm to you that its long awaited International Dental Congress is scheduled to take place in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on June 18-20th, 2015.
The chosen theme is: « VERS UN SOURIRE EN SANTE/ TOWARD A HEALTHY SMILE »
The Faculté d’Odontologie would be honored to have you as a speaker, and believes that your intervention would contribute to the success of this event.
I`ve been asked to talk on the Science of HPV in oral and cervical cancer. Tom will also be presenting as will two of his dental colleagues from Baltimore. Dr Charles Mann, endodontist, and Dr Kevin Murphy, prosthodontist, are donating their time and covering their own expenses to participate in this historic conference. We are forever indebted to them for their expertise and generosity to Haiti dentistry.
Our plan is to arrive a few days early so we can check in with our other projects on the ground. We will spend one day of pediatric dental care at Gesner and Dominique`s orphanage and the following day in the PaP women`s prison performing gyn exams. The remainder of the week will be at the Dental School with the Congress organized by Dr Prophet`s group of devoted, hard working dentists and staff.
We have bags and bags of supplies to bring down thanks to the wonderful generosity of many caring dental organizations here in the US. The pictures do not do justice to the quantity of supplies.
